One of my favorite breakfast spots on Bourbon St. live music. Delicious food and drinks. Amazing staff. Recommend

This was one of my favorite spots in NOLA! It was a beautiful morning. I love sitting outside in a warm sunny area. We can for the beniets, but I don't really eat sweets. So I didn't try them. I was told they were delicious though. We ordered breakfast and then got our drinks from the bar. You can't drink all day if you don't start on the morning! Everyone was AWESOME! NOLA has the nicest people. Every server is super sweet.

I only came for drinks while on Bourbon St and liked the atmosphere here. There's outdoor seating in a great location. We ordered at the bar and enjoyed the live music. Service was quick.

Now I know this is the beignet place to stop. Different(lower) price from the other Cafe Beignet, and larger beignets! There is a significant line of customers. We stopped here for a frozen(brain freeze if you are not careful)Hurricane. No special hurricane glass, but then nothing to carefully carry home either. It is a tasty fruity drink that one drinks slowly and a necessary part of a visit to New Orleans.

Yes to the location, beignets, and live jazz. No to the other food... You can't come to NOLA and not have any beignets! We've tried Cafe du Monde, and heard that Cafe Beignet was the other place to check out. The beignets didn't disappoint and Musician Park was the best place to people watch and enjoy some cool live jazz. We got the plain powdered beignets and enjoyed their soft, pillowy texture. They were the sweet and went well with the house coffee. 100% recommend coming here for beignets as I would say they're comparable to Cafe du Monde (check out my next review for where I think the BEST beignets actually are). We came for lunch and also ordered some jambalaya and crawfish etoufee. Both were kinda mid -- the jambalaya was somehow bland and salty, and the rice was dry; the crawfish etoufee was better seasoned, but the pieces of crawfish were so small, dry, and lacked flavor. The bread served on the side was stale. I wasn't expecting super high quality, but for $13, I was hoping for flavor or preparation at least. Services and location were great. This location is nestled right in the heart of Bourbon Street and was very easy to find. The courtyard is super cute and pays homage to iconic jazz musicians. Service was friendly and they were super fast at cleaning up tables for guests to sit. Live jazz starts at 10a, so I highly recommend going then for breakfast.

What a charming location they have created here! Right in the middle of bourbon street, instead of having a little "boutique-type" Storefront, they used the open air space to create a small "piazza" where a band is playing and the beignets, coffees and if you want some fun drinks, (they have those too!!) flow freely! Just walk to the end of the beautifully decorated piazza, get your beignets and drinks (food truck style!) you will Get a number for the beignets as they come hot off the kitchen... and go find your spot to listen to some relaxing uplifting tunes by the band. What a fun atmosphere and a nice break after all The bar-hopping down Bourbon Street! Come and enjoy!

Okay the beignets were maybe raw. BUT, (and this might be a me thing I should fix), I liked it. I actually kinda like raw dough so I was happy to eat my beignet and drink my ice coffee. My BF more reasonably was slightly alarmed by this. But again, maybe as we are greedy bastards, we ate the whole thing The music was great and the weather was lovely. Of course it's a tourist spot but can't help but love the feel of it. Folk were able to get full breakfasts or order a round of beers from the bar at 10am. Will be back
